  • 1 egg white
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons rice apple vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons corn starch
  • 2/3 cup water
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a glass bowl, mix flour, corn starch, baking powder, egg white, and water to create the batter. Coat chicken strips evenly.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to medium (350°F). Fry chicken in batches until golden brown (about 5 minutes), then drain on paper towels.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together sauce ingredients: honey, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar, corn starch, and water. Heat in a pan until thickened.
  4. Combine fried chicken with the sauce in the pan until well-coated.
