  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup melted white chocolate chips (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan, then stir in the cocoa powder and set aside to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil until light and foamy. Stir in the cooled butter mixture and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out clean. Allow cooling completely before cutting into squares.
  6. Decorate with spider webs using melted white chocolate piped from a ziplock bag.
